The Ambassadors Dinner is hosted by Cambridge University Scandinavian Society every other year and is one of the highlights of the social calendar. Last year’s dinner at Oxford was a sumptuous occasion but we think we can do even better this year. In celebration of the heritage of each country and the work of the Embassies in London, Ambassadors from each Scandinavian country will be attending the pre-dinner drinks reception and the dinner itself which will take place in the main hall of Newnham College Cambridge on the 1st March. Students from Bath, LSE and Oxford Scandinavian Societies will also be attending the event but we are giving priority
seating to Cambridge students. This is a chance to enjoy a delicious repast and mingle with your fellow Scandies in beautiful surroundings. We hope you can come!
SECURING A PLACE:
If you would like to attend the dinner, please send your money to our society treasurer at the following address: Emma Sutton, Newnham College, Cambridge, CB3 9DF. This must be done by the 20th February at the very latest and to be sure of securing a place sending money within the next week or so would be sensible.
Also include on a piece of paper your name, the name of the university you attend/attended, nationality and email address so that Emma can email you to let you know she has received payment. Also please indicate whether you want the vegetarian option, whether you are a member or not and whether you are booking a drinking or non-drinking place. Your place will only be confirmed once we have received this. Make sure that the amount of money you pay equates to your membership status or lack thereof.
